It means that the beater shaft turns one way and the attachments spiral in the other direction to at least 59 touchpoints around the bowl. Enjoy getting fast and thorough results. Just select the accessory and speed by sliding the control lever. Select speed 1 for a gentle stir up to 6 for beating and creaming and 10 for fast whipping. You can make whipped cream in less than 60 seconds(2). Hey presto.
